UKDNA

About Us

The UK Domain Name Association was founded in July 2007 with the following key aims:

• To bring together a fragmented UK Domain Name Industry.

• To help UK domain name holders keep a better % of the income, from affiliates, PPC and other schemes and give the same percentage to every member.

• To protect domain name registrants rights to use, hold, buy or sell their names in any legal business model, under European law.

• To help members develop their domain names into content rich sites.

• To clean up the internet by using the UKDNA best practice for domain names guidelines.

• To liaise with and form ties with the UK Government and the patents office.

• To liaise with Domain Name Registries and advise on policy issues.

• To create an online forum to allow members to talk about legal, technical and other issues.

• To employ our own IP lawyer and accumulate a pot of money to fight legal UDRP/DRS disputes.

• To be a strong honest voice within the industry.
